Code, Courts, & Compute

LFG Ventures presents a weekly newsletter delivering private market (pre-IPO) insights and signals across tech and frontier industries.

Anthropic went from growth-stage startup to institutional-grade revenue story in about 60 days. A federal court handed Kalshi another state-level win. Intel joined the chip factory backing Musk's stack. OpenAI published a policy manifesto. And an Army helicopter fired a drone for the first time. There was a lot going on.

Let's get into it.

๐Ÿค– Anthropic: Billions, Bugs, & Boundaries

Run-rate revenue hit $30B, up from $9B at the end of 2025. Enterprise customers spending $1M or more annually doubled to 1,000+ in two months, and a multi-gigawatt TPU deal with Google and Broadcom locks in compute through 2027. On the security side, Project Glasswing launched with 11 partners including Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, JPMorganChase, and CrowdStrike. Their unreleased Mythos Preview model found thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities, including a 27-year-old bug in OpenBSD and a 16-year-old bug in FFmpeg. Partners committed $100M in usage credits. Mythos stays internal for now. And starting April 4, Claude Pro and Max subscribers can no longer use their subscriptions with third-party agentic tools. Power users get a one-time credit and a 30% discount as a bridge. The API is now the only path for serious builders. Anthropic | Anthropic

๐Ÿ“Š Kalshi: On TV and In Court

Fox News, Fox Business, Fox Weather, and Fox One are all integrating Kalshi prediction market data, putting real-money odds in front of millions of viewers. Seventy percent of Kalshi visitors check the markets but never trade. The Federal Reserve uses Kalshi data internally. A federal appeals court also blocked New Jersey from shutting down Kalshi's sports prediction markets, another state challenge turned back. Kalshi | Coindesk

๐Ÿญ SpaceX: Intel Joins the Fab

Intel joined Terafab, the joint venture between Tesla, SpaceX, and xAI targeting one trillion watts of compute per year. That is 50x current global AI chip output. The roadmap covers edge-inference chips for Full Self-Driving and Optimus, plus radiation-hardened silicon for SpaceX missions. Elon called the $2T IPO valuation being floated "BS" on X. The factory is real. The timeline is the question. Teslarati

๐Ÿง  OpenAI: Now a Policy Player

OpenAI published a framework for navigating AI-driven job displacement. It calls for robot taxes, a four-day work week, public wealth funds, and shifting the tax burden from labor to capital. The proposal treats AI infrastructure as a public utility and positions OpenAI as a policy actor alongside its role as a product company. Make of that what you will. Techcrunch

๐Ÿš Anduril: First Shot From an Apache

An Army AH-64E Apache helicopter launched an Altius-700 drone for the first time at Yuma Proving Ground during CFWE26. The test expands what Army aviators can strike without putting themselves in range. Anduril keeps turning legacy platforms into force multipliers. X

โœˆ๏ธ Hermeus: Hypersonic Gets Funded

Hermeus closed a $350M Series C at a $1B valuation to build hypersonic aircraft for both military and commercial missions. The airframe is designed to hit Mach 5+. The round puts them in a small club of companies actually building the hardware to back the hype. TechCrunch

๐Ÿ’ฌ Prompt

What can I help you with?

Take [existing successful company] and rebuild it from scratch as if it were founded today. What would be different? What would the original company never be able to do that this new version could? What is the actual moat?

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Learn How to Prompt

Although AI seems to do everything for you, remember that AI is a tool. Like a hammer, its value depends on how well you use it. The better your skill, the better the result.

๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ Stay Lean to Stay Alive

Weโ€™ve witnessed many companies die because they got comfortable and stopped operating like a starving startup. When youโ€™re hungry, you think differently to survive. Too much food on the table can make you slow and sluggish. Stay lean.

๐Ÿ•ด Successful Companies Create Mafias

Smart people at successful companies with capital lead to smart people launching new successful companies with capital. First, we saw this with the โ€œPayPal Mafia.โ€ Now, weโ€™re seeing mafias from SpaceX, Palantir, and Anduril.
